Private beta policy
This policy explains how TalentLink Football handles information during the private beta. It is written for players, scouts, clubs, academies, agents, and admins using the platform.
Draft policy notice: this page is general private-beta guidance for TalentLink Football and should be reviewed by a qualified legal professional before a large public launch.
TalentLink Football collects account details such as name, email address, role, verification status, and login information needed to operate the beta.
Player profiles may include football biography, age, nationality, country, position, club status, physical attributes, profile photos, highlight videos, video metadata, and performance statistics entered by the user.
Scouts, clubs, academies, and agents may create watchlists, send messages, review profiles, and interact with player content. Those interactions create platform records such as saved players, message threads, analytics, notifications, and video view events.
Uploaded profile photos and highlight videos are used to display player profiles, support scouting workflows, and help clubs or scouts evaluate a profile inside TalentLink Football.
Users retain ownership of the photos, videos, text, and football information they upload. By uploading content, users grant TalentLink Football a limited license to host, process, display, and make that content available inside the service for profile, scouting, messaging, moderation, support, and security purposes.
Users must only upload content they own, have permission to use, or are legally allowed to share. Users must not upload copyrighted match footage, broadcast clips, music, logos, or third-party photos without permission.
Copyright and impersonation reports should be sent to talentlink.support@gmail.com with the profile link, content description, ownership details, and requested action. TalentLink Football will acknowledge copyright reports within 7 business days.
Messages are used to support football recruitment conversations between players, scouts, clubs, academies, agents, and admins. Users should not share sensitive personal documents or payment details in messages.
Watchlists and analytics help scouts and organizations manage prospects and help players understand profile activity. Private analytics are available to the profile owner and admins; other users see only public-safe statistics.
TalentLink Football uses data to create accounts, authenticate users, display profiles, process uploads, provide search and rankings, support messaging, protect the platform, review verification requests, and troubleshoot beta issues.
TalentLink Football does not guarantee trials, contracts, scouting outcomes, selection by a club or academy, professional representation, scholarships, or any specific football opportunity.
TalentLink Football uses database, hosting, authentication, and media upload providers to operate the platform. These providers process data only as needed for the app to function.
Private beta data may be reviewed by platform admins for support, security, moderation, verification, abuse prevention, and product improvement.
Users can edit profile information from the app where editing tools are available. Some security, moderation, analytics, and audit records may be retained when needed to protect the beta.
Users may request account deletion through the Contact page or by emailing talentlink.support@gmail.com. TalentLink Football will complete deletion requests within 30 days after the request can be verified.
Backups may retain limited data for up to 90 days for security, recovery, and legal obligations. Some minimal records may be retained where needed to prevent abuse, resolve disputes, enforce policies, or comply with legal obligations.
The minimum user age for TalentLink Football is 13.
Users under 18 must have permission from a parent or legal guardian before creating an account, uploading profile content, sending messages, or communicating with scouts, clubs, academies, agents, or other users.
